Last week I played paintball for my first-time and I must say i liked it, so I played again over the weekend for my second time, and its a feeling like I just want to keep playing and playing, I used to be fascinated, its an incredible activity and probably now the best thing to do. So now I wish to get paintball a marker, but my dilemma is which i don't just want any marker, I'd like a high end marker like the earth Eclipse CS2 and I don't know whether or not I should get it. Now, I've the means to buy it, I know it's expensive, and I'm probably jumping way ahead of myself which I do not need it at all, especially since I just started playing the overall game, but I must say i want to buy to have it, therefore i was considering to wait a couple weeks, then after like 2 several weeks easily still am playing paintball but still like it, then buy it right? Essentially what I'm looking to get at after my long thinking process 😂, is what the community would think, would this be frowned upon? People do that more than you’d think. I'd say at least practice with it and read the manual which means you know what could fail with it at least just a little. Most areas have players that have been around a while and may answer questions on it, or point you in a direction at least. Plus you could probably ask about different drills you could achieve this that newcomer phase isn’t as bad. The CS2 is a great speedball marker; however, it might be a bit overkill for other formats. It all depends on what you like playing. Used stuff isn’t as bad as you’d think too. Individually I’ve never bought a brand new top quality marker. I understand you said you have the means but why spend the money if you don’t absolutely have to. Practice more than buying the surface of the at all times is worth WAY more.
Maybe even look into the SP Shocker XLS, or the new Gtek 170R. The 170R is actually just a less expensive version of the CS2. Hell, even the 160R. All great guns and they're going to do all you need these to do on the field without throwing all your money into a setup. Plus, they'll feel a great deal closer to the CS2 than most guns. Keep playing for a few months and find out predicament. Is your setup good enough, or would you like to bump up? Don't get me incorrect, I love having high end stuff because I love nice, sparkly things, but Personally i think less bad about damaging a far more cost effective gun. No-one worth their grit is going to assess you for adoring the sport and all the wonderful things about that come with it. Which means you do you boo-boo, and also have fun with it. I'd recommend an Axe Pro, Shocker XLS, or Gtek if you are a larger person. The Empire Mini/Axe line are excellent markers but its a bit small for a number of people. Some individuals like this small feel though. Furthermore, you can't fail with an Etha 2 (fantastic marker). It is not exactly quite, but it has the same internals as the new Gtek 170r that is coming out, without the OLED table. You'd be hard pressed to find any factor in the shot quality of the CS2 vs the Etha 2. The CS2 has a *somewhat* softer shot due to the somewhat bigger enlargement chamber on its Gamma Core Pro vs the Gamma Primary on the Etha 2/Emek/Gtek/Gtek 160r/ Gtek 170r. A cs2 is actually great. I own a lot of older top quality markers. The cs2 is preferable to them BUT i purchased mine for 250 to 600 dollars. While the cs2 is way better in efficiency and also have more trinkets (cool features) It really is only better marginally. All paintball markers take the same BPS (balls per second) they capture the same FPS (ft per second) Now with all having said that. i'll say im frugal. I own 10 top quality markers at this time. But i cant justify the cost of a whole new marker. When j can buy it at a portion of the retail price in a couple of years. My advice is buy a good mask. It really is your #1 peice of equip. Fittment is key. Visit a shop and try some on. In the event that you dont curently have a mask. I personally wouldn't normally spend 1500 when you arent sure this is something you will remain with. Ive been playing 18 years on / off because of to available time. There is certainly nothing wrong with investing in a cs2 if thats what you would like. But equip does not mean skill. Ive performed speedball with a magfed marker and dominated some individuals (they wernt hardcore speedballers)however they experienced me outgeared. But that didnt matter. Ive been slaughtered by pump players. Do what seems to you. Theres many aspects to this sport. Just dont be that man who ramps on the rec audience to really get your jollies.
